I’m definitely struggling with this prompt. I have a pretty short attention span, so the thought of returning to any of my previous prompts isn’t really my favorite choice for a prompt. However, here are the projects I liked the most:
-Rap, Race, and Culpability (From Law and Literature)
— This would take the form of a multimedia post on the blog (as it had prior). While I could definitely think of different areas to approach, I don’t have too much I want to revise in this project. So, even though it’s my favorite topic, I don’t think it’s at the top of the list
-Research-Based practices in Writing Tutoring (Independent Study)
–For this project I would finalize my research article for my independent study. It’s partially finished, but never needed to be turned in because I never ended up presenting at the conference I was accepted to. It would be nice to see the finished project, but I don’t think I would be challenging myself.
-Jezebels and Crustaceans (Dystopian Young Adult Literature)
— For this project I’d be taking a new look at an old essay. Instead of focusing on transgression from societal restrictions in two dystopias I would look at the sanctity of marriage. It could be interesting, but I’ve spent a lot of time with The Handmaids Tale so I’m not really sure I want to.
–The Bell Jar (Writing and Women’s health)
— This is my ADE from last semester. I would be redoing it to focus on patient-provider relationships. I don’t really remember writing it because I was concussed, so 1. it needs a lot of work and 2. I’m the least bored w/ it. I’l probably go with this one, even though I’m not terribly excited by it.
Wild Card: I always planned on writing my capstone on how young, American colloquialisms degrade the concepts were speaking about, I’ll probably still do a critical introduction about this because it is the theme of my blog.
